Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. She graduated cum laude from The University of Missouri Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Communication and Theatre. After moving to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in acting for theater and choreographing for more than two dozen musicals and plays like The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at Los Angeles' award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly began to land film and television roles when she was studying improvisations with The Groundlings. The voice of her and diminutive stature that have made her able to play a variety of diverse characters. Her most well-known character is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara in The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as the main character on TV Land's The Exes in which she was an ex-party-goer and a paralegal throughout the day. Also, she was an Regular as the sassy sexpert baby sister of Alyssa Milano on ABC's Romantically Challenged as well as the stressed out suburban mom on the show on CW's No Tomorrow. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a number of animated shows like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Most recently she can be known as the dim, but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. She lives a quiet private life, with her husband and two young children and enjoys sewing writing as well as volunteering for school activities.
